Working for Countryside Properties CBO Transport have helped secure planning approval for 69 homes on this site in Newhey. Although the size of the scheme is relatively modest the optimum position, in terms of maximising units numbers, for an access to the site was in a tricky position on a bend on a busy A road. We were therefore required to produce a full Transport Assessment for the scheme to demonstrate that an access in this location would be safe.
Despite initial scepticism from the highway authority they were pursuaded that the site could be accessed in the preffered location.
