Working for Orbit Developments, CBO Transport has helped secure planning permission for substantial additional car parking at office sites in Warrington, Stockport and Chorley. This additional parking reflects the significant increase there now is in the density of employees in many office buildings, driven by technology and other factors such as reductions in reception and conference space.
The parking levels approved at the these sites are now well beyond the Councils' parking standards so our first task was to prepare the case to justify the additional parking and secondly we needed to show additional traffic could be accommodated in the vicinity of the sites.
