CBO Transport have helped secure planning approval for the Rivington Chase development in Horwich, Bolton. The approval, on the site of the Former Horwich Loco Works is for 1,700 houses, 10 hectares of employment and a mix of ancillary development. We have been involved with the site since it was allocated in Bolton's Core Startegy. Our work for the planning application involved the production of the Transport Assessment and negotiation with Bolton and the Highways Agency on access and off site mitigation proposals. The majority of the permission is in outline but all highway matters now have full planning approval.
