CBO Transport prepared and presented highway evidence on behalf Frenson Developments at a Section 18 inquiry on this site in central Liverpool. Section 18 is part of the Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) process and considers what uses a site could have been given planning permission for in a "no scheme world" other than that which it was compulsorily purchased for.
Our evidence considered the access and parking arrangements for a number of development options which relied on the use of narrow historic city centre streets. We showed that by using a shared surface approach, access could be provided within the existing building lines.
Highways issues were resolved at the inquiry.
